A 32-year-old Sayreville resident was arrested this week in connection with the death of a man who was run over multiple times Tuesday by a driver following an argument in the parking lot of an Old Bridge medical complex, investigators said.

Marvin Tyler was arrested but no charges and no further details about his alleged actions were released by the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office on Friday.

Jason Freeman, 36, of Middletown was pronounced dead at 5:05 p.m. in the 100 Perrine Road parking lot after he had been hit several times by a car which fled the scene, the office said.

Anyone with information or surveillance footage of the area is asked to call Old Bridge police Det. Michael Cronin at 732-721-5600 or Det. Christopher Pennisi of the Middlesex County Prosecutors Office at 732-745-4060.
