Donald Trump’s Niece Tells DOJ To Quickly Indict Him Or ‘Much Worse Things Are Going To Start Happening’

News

Former President Donald Trumps niece Mary Trump, who is highly critical of her uncle, says that the clock is ticking for the Department of Justice, as it considers indictinghim.

The Justice Department should quickly decide on whether to indict Trump or not, now that the midterm election is over, shesaid on the Dean Obeidallah Show on SiriusXM.

When Mary was asked by the host whether she was hopeful that Trump would be indicted, she replied, I dont know if Im hopeful, but all I can say is he has to be, I dont know whether he will be or not, but he has to be because if he isnt, then much worse things are going to start happening, she said.

Trump is under the DOJ scanner for taking classified documents to his Mar-a-Lago residence and also for his role in the Jan. 6, 2021, Capitol Hill riots.

The decision to indict Trump should depend not only on the amount of evidence against him, but also on the actions he might take in retaliation, Mary said. She also brought up the point of Trump playing the cynical card of If Im announcing, then any attack on me will be a political one or any indictment of me will be politically motivated.

The DOJ, therefore, has about a week, she said.

They cannot wait until Donald decides to announce. So again, hopeful or not, its what they have to do, whether they will do it or not, she added.

Trump and his team have hinted at formally announcing his candidature for the 2024 Presidential election next week.
