North Korea bidding its time before seventh nuclear test

SEOUL – Amid a barrage of missiles fired by North Korea in the last couple of days, the question is: Why did the regime not conduct its much talked about seventh nuclear test?

South Koreas National Intelligence Service had earlier predicted that Pyongyang may do it between Oct 16 and Nov 7, with the earlier date marking the start of Chinas national party congress and the other, US midterm elections.
