Amber Alert canceled. Abducted 7-month-old found safe, father in custody, cops say.

An Amber Alert issued for a 7-month-old Vineland girl who authorities say was abducted by her father was canceled Thursday morning after she was found safe, authorities said.

The girls 22-year-old father, Ramon Rivera Jr. has been taken into custody, according to authorities. The update came around 7:50 a.m., nearly four hours after the initial alert.

Vineland police couldnt immediately provide additional information, while State Police couldnt be reached.

The girl went missing on Wednesday and police broadcast a description of what the baby was wearing and the vehicle her father was thought to be driving.

An Amber Alert was sent to cell phones across New Jersey shortly after 4 a.m.
