SPRINGFIELD Since 2006, Noemi Santiago has helped run elections in Springfield, helping voters through three presidential elections.

But the work is also a family affair for Santiago, who works as an election warden at the 2D polling place at Van Sickle Middle School Academy. Her daughter, Brianna Santiago, serves as a clerk and her niece, Alissa Rooney, serves as warden at the 2H polling location at Van Sickle.
